PreviewThis dataset contains code used to generate the daily benthic light (bPAR) data product provided at and the bPAR index for water qual
PreviewThis dataset contains point features depicting spot heights for the Wet Tropics Bioregion.
PreviewThis dataset contains line and point features depicting contours across the Wet Tropics Bioregion as shown on the 1:50,000 scale National Topographic Maps. The dataset derives from Geoscience Australias 1:50,000 scale National Topographic Map Series data.
PreviewThere are 10 major trading ports along the Great Barrier Reef coast. The waters of most of these ports are within the Great Barrier Reef Region, but not within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Little is known about the impacts of fire on rainforest vegetation or the animals which depend on it. This project will investigate the positive and negative impacts of fire on rainforest vegetation and wildlife. In collaboration with NPRSR rangers, and where possible with local NGOs and Indigenous Rangers, we propose to establish vegetation and faunal monitoring sites across the rainforest/woodland boundaries and associated vegetation types in key areas of the Mission Beach, Tully lowlands and Hinchinbrook Channel areas to assess faunal and floral status and trends.
PreviewThis dataset contains maps of alluvial and hillslope gullies across four large blocks of lidar covering portions of the Burdekin, Fitzroy, and Normanby Catchments.
PreviewAustralia's River Basins 1997 is the result of a joint State, Territory and Commonwealth Government project to create a national spatial database of major hydrological basins.
PreviewThis dataset consists of one data file from a 16 day aquarium experiment manipulating pH and light level and measuring growth, photosynthesis, calcification and pigment content of Acropora millepora.
PreviewThis dataset consists of 31 monitoring sites in the Tully-Ingham area. Sites have various levels of rainforest invasion. Each site has a vegetation strata species list and counts of each species in each strata.
PreviewThis dataset contains estimated daily integrated benthic photosynthetically active radiation (bPAR) in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and Coral Sea for each day from July 2002 through to December 2019. Data are provided on a 1km grid.
