Acropora muricata

Acropora muricata is a species of Hard Coral of the family Acroporidae. This specimen was found at Poruma Island Reef in the Torres Strait as part of a biodiversity survey in January 2014. The taxonomic classification for this photo was performed by Paul Muir from The Museum of Tropical Queensland.
