Description
Laboratory photograph of a juvenile Irukandji jellyfish, Carukia barnesi. The bell is approximately 10 mm across. Irukandji periodically infest North Queensland beaches and reefs and it's sting produces life-threatening illness in its victims. A model developed through the project will enable early warning of these influxes.
