Coastal flood plume exposure in the North Queensland Wet Tropics

Spatial classification of the three main water types to occur within the Wet Tropics NRM area, Great Barrier Reef. Extent and frequency of the primary water type (b) within a small but substantive inshore wedge out to a distance of 25 km offshore. Extent and frequency of the secondary water types as characterised by elevated chl-a concentrations occurs further offshore to a distance of 100 km. The full extent of all plumes, out to the edge of the tertiary plume, is shaded in yellow (a).
