Foraminifera with fluorescent stains

A formaminifera from an experiment on the combined effects of temperature and pCO2 increase. This specimen was originally tagged in March 2016 with calceine (green inner ring), and about a year later with calceine blue (blue outer ring). The rings represent the size of the specimen at the time of tagging, and thus allow us to measure growth over a long term period.
