Juvenile coral growth
Description
Weekly images of coral juveniles to assess growth and survivorship. These corals were exposed to different light and pCO2 treatments in an ocean acidification and water quality experiment within the Sea Simulator (SeaSim) at the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). Here the number of juvenile corals declines over the nine week experiment as some die, while others merge into one another to form chimera colonies.
