Description

Seabirds and shorebirds are found throughout the northeast Australian seascape using the islands and cays for breeding and nesting, and the productive waters to feed. Feeding guilds include species that forage in pelagic waters, species that forage in nearshore waters and migratory shorebirds that largely feed in intertidal habitats.
