Dunk Island full instrument setup with sediment traps, nephelometer and current meter
Photographers: Tom Stevens, TropWATER
Description
The photo shows (from above) the typical full instrument setup (for seven of our sites) which include four sediment traps (capture suspended sediment over deployment period) that surround a nephelometer which captures continuous environmental data at 10 min intervals. The current meter off to the side captures current speed and direction at corresponding 10 min intervals. This photo is from our Dunk Island site and was taken at the end of a 3 to 4 month deployment just before all the instruments were changed over.
