Prolifering branching corals at Broomfield Reef

While cyclones cause a lot of damage to some parts of a reef other areas, are unscathed. Here branching coral continues to proliferate at Broomfield Reef. By using the manta tow technique, the LTMP can assess which areas of a reef are most impacted by disturbances like COTS and storms, as the perimeter of each reef is surveyed in this technique.
