Description
View of the upper reef slope showing a thriving coral community at Horseshoe Reef in Swains reef complex of the Great Barrier Reef. At the survey sites on Horseshoe Reef coral cover was lowest in 2003 after a crown-of-thorns outbreak. Coral cover recovered rapidly and has continued to increase up to 2014. See more information on Horsehoe Reef. Read more about coral recovery and reassembly.
