Lower Burdekin extension staff and chemical resellers knowledge exchange workshop at AIMS

Workshop with the Lower Burdekin extension staff and chemical resellers. More than twenty cane extension officers who work with farmers in the Lower Burdekin presented on methods and technologies to reduce nutrient and pesticide run off into waterways. AIMS staff presented information on monitoring marine water quality, assessing the effects of pesticides and climate change on marine biota and assessing other threats to the health of the Great Barrier Reef.
