Description
Storm-clouds in February 2019 shaded the waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park directly, and also brought with them heavy rain and flood-water. Turbid water from river flood plumes carries heavy loads of sediments and nutrients light penetrating to the bottom of the water column.
