Description
Representation of island breeding activity for tree (e.g. black noddy), ground (e.g. sooty tern) and burrow nesting (e.g. wedge-tailed shearwater) species, and different species-specific foraging strategies. For example, short foraging trips over nearshore waters (e.g. black noddy), and short- and long-distance foraging trips over both nearshore and open ocean pelagic waters (e.g. wedge-tailed shearwaters). Note that for many seabird species subsurface predator activity is necessary for successful foraging. Source: unpublished
