Concealed crown-of-thorns starfish

This crown-of-thorns starfish is well concealed during the day. Despite being toxic with extremely sharp spines they often choose to hide amongst the branching coral, or on the undersides of corals. This can make spotting crown-of-thorns starfish difficult.
