Wet Season (March) Secchi depth climatology (2002-2012) from remote sensing

Description
Long term (2002 - 2012) measurement of secchi depth, in metres, (a measure of water clarity) for the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) for March. This represents the water clarity at the end of the wet season when numerous rivers typically flood. This measurement of the secchi depth was estimated from MODIS remote sensing using an empircal relationship between in situ measurements of secchi depth and estimated 10% photic depth. The matching image for the dry season (September) is also available.
