Dry Season (September) Secchi depth climatology (2002-2012) from remote sensing

Description
Long term (2002 - 2012) measurement of secchi depth, in metres, (a measure of water clarity) for the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) for September. This represents the water clarity during the dry season when river flows into the GBR are minimal. This measurement of the secchi depth was estimated from MODIS remote sensing using an empircal relationship between in situ measurements of secchi depth and estimated 10% photic depth. The matching image for the wet season is also available.
