Where does multi-beam bathymetry exist in N and NW Australia's Key Ecological Features?
Researchers from Project D1 of the Marine Biodiversity Hub of the National Environmental Science Programme present this interactive map-based summary of where multi-beam bathymetry data exists in the Key Ecological Features of the N and NW regions.
The multibeam bathymetry data is from Geoscience Australia’s multibeam bathymetry holdings as it stands in 2016 (https://www.ga.gov.au/metadata-gateway/metadata/record/90072/). The data is the compilation of numerous data sources, from mulitbeam surveys conducted by Geoscience Australia, CSIRO, Royal Australian Navy, the Australian Institute of Marine Science and many national and international collaborators.
